Mixed Mode Authentication

Change the Authentication Mode of the SQL server from "Windows Authentication Mode (Windows Authentication)" to "Mixed Mode (Windows Authentication and SQL Server Authentication)".

For chnging this login to SQL server in Windows Authentication and right click the Server Name , click Properties, it result a following wondow,

SQL Server Mixed Mode Authentication

Click Security and check the Server authentication "SQL Server and Windows Authentication mode" is selected, if not select the option. You must restart the service.
