Restoring a Backup

  1. Use the Object Explorer and select the Server that the database is in
  2. Expand the Databases folder
  3. Right click on the database that you want to restore the backup to
  4. Highlight Tasks
  5. Select Restore
  6. Select Database
  7. A form will be displayed and you will be change the following options


    Restore Database


    • Database – (defaulted to the database that you right clicked on)
    • Source for restore
      • You can choose to restore from another database
      • You can choose to restore from a file
    • After selecting the source, please select the backup that you want to restore
